This specimen is made by Hafod Grange, exquisitely handcrafted in the middle of Great Britain's Margam Forest. The Grange was once the summer grazing area for stock kept by the Cistercian monks of the now ruined Margam Abbey. The paperweights are produced in workshops within the 14th century tithe barn. Their mission is "to create the unusual, bordering on the impossible." Most of the specimens encapsulated in these botanical wonders grow naturally on the surrounding mountain or in their carefully tended gardens. Each specimen is hand-picked and then dried to preserve its natural beauty. After drying, the specimens are cast in clear resin and then turned and polished to a superb finish.
